The oldest URL-Inspection result for a site is more than 10 days old. The sweep
is no longer renewing results, so webmaster_indexed_pages{engine="google"} and
webmaster_url_coverage are describing the past.
webmaster_url_sweep_age_seconds > 864000
A healthy full cycle is sitemap URLs / (125 × 4 polls a day) — about 2.7 days
for the wiki's ~1340 URLs. If a sitemap grows past ~4000 URLs a cycle approaches
the threshold: raise VIS_INSPECT_PER_POLL (quota is ~2000/day per property).
Until 2026-10-01 this gauge was now − last_sweep_completed, and that stamp was
rewritten on every poll once the sweep had wrapped once — so it read 0 for
every site and could not go stale even with every inspection call failing. It is
now measured from the oldest per-URL timestamp.
ssh jakefear@docker2 'cd /opt/jakemon && docker compose logs --since 24h visibility-exporter | grep -iE "inspect|sweep|sitemap"'
Usually accompanied by IncidentSeoUrlSweepFailing — fix that and the age recovers over one cycle.
